Product Description

The 975 server chassis supports the use of two single-slot PCI riser cards. Each riser card is capable of supporting three 3.3-volt (V), 64-bit peripheral cards. The motherboard supports 66-megahertz (MHz) PCI in the low profile slot and up to 100-MHz PCI-X in the full-height slot. This is the full-height riser card assembly. It can only be used in the riser card slot located near the middle of the motherboard. The riser card slot on the edge of the board is for the half-height riser card assembly.

The low-profile PCI assembly contains a 3.3V riser card (part number 4000839) and a metal bracket (part number 6002446). Only use the assembly part number when replacing a riser card.
